Join us for a lecture exploring the impact of iconic Revolutionary War artworks, including popular and influential pieces from the time, such as Gilbert Stuart’s George Washington, Paul Revere’s Boston Massacre engraving, and John Trumbull’s paintings in the U.S. Capitol.

Special focus will be given to New Jersey’s role in key Revolutionary events, including Washington’s famous crossing of the Delaware and the battles of Trenton and Princeton, which were pivotal in turning the tide of the war.
