June Production

The Lord Stirling Theater Company presents "The Wisdom of Eve" adapted for the stage by Mary Orr from her 1946 short story. Directed by Jeanne Johnston.

A riveting drama that unfolds in the glamorous world of Broadway.

The story follows Eve Harrington, a seemingly innocent fan who becomes enamored with the renowned actress Margo Crane. As Eve insinuates herself into Margo's life, her facade of adoration begins to crack, revealing a manipulative and ambitious character. Tensions escalate as loyalties are tested and secrets are unveiled, culminating in a gripping showdown that explores the dark underbelly of ambition and fame.

The Wisdom of Eve is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection (www.dramatists.com).

This performance takes place inside an actual barn.  There is no heat or a/c, so please dress accordingly.

This event is made possible by funds from the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
