Dear Friends of the Farmstead,
For hundreds of years, the land on which Farmstead Arts sits has been fertile ground. First as a farm, cultivating livestock and produce, and now as a flourishing arts community offering art classes, theater, music and history. All this growth has been made possible by support from friends like you! With your help this year we offered over 80 art classes, held acclaimed theatre performances, and hosted two sold-out events in the Barn. PLUS, we will soon be launching, a new, more streamlined website allowing for easier navigation and purchasing of event tickets and classes.
2024 promises to be even more exciting! We are thrilled to have received $549,261 from Somerset County in the form of a Historic Preservation grant! This grant will enable us to continue the Cow Shed’s restoration and repurposing efforts with new bathrooms, a kitchen staging area and historical displays. Plus, we will add better parking and a new sign on King George Road to increase the Farmstead’s visibility… and more. While restorations are funded through grants, we rely on your support for operations. Given the tremendous growth expected in the coming year, there’s never been a better time to partner with us. Donate today to become a part of our success story.
With Gratitude,
Leslie
