Internationally acclaimed guitarists Fabio Mittino and Bert Lams return to Farmstead Arts to celebrate 20 years of musical collaboration.
Their program, A Life in Music, traces the extraordinary journey of composer Thomas de Hartmann through a collection of beautifully crafted guitar arrangements. From lyrical Romantic melodies to spiritually inspired works and music touched by jazz and modern influences, the concert unfolds as a rich and deeply expressive musical story.
Performed on vintage archtop guitars, these works are brought to life with a warmth and intimacy rarely heard in classical music. Mittino and Lams share a remarkable musical connection, developed over two decades of performing together and shaped by their roots in Robert Fripp's Guitar Craft tradition.
