Current Exhibition

In autumn, students from Ridge High School ventured to the Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site in Philadelphia to seek visual inspiration. Once revered as the world's most famous prison, Eastern State Penitentiary now stands as a somber testament to its storied past—a landscape of crumbling cell blocks and desolate guard towers. Intrigued by the prison's rich history, the students delved into the realm of ghost stories that lingered within its walls. Guided by the eerie experience, they embarked on a creative journey, utilizing discarded books, paint, and mono-printing techniques to further explore mark-making. The exhibition runs from March 3rd to April 7th with a reception on March 19th from 5 to 7 PM.
